Spirit Art:

Channeling Symbols and Messages in Artwork

Spirit Art is a deeply personal and intuitive practice for me. Each piece is created with love and intention, connecting to Spirit and translating that energy into vibrant, meaningful artwork.

One especially cherished creation is the first card I drew for my brother Doug while he was in surgery, called “Ober Yetz” after a Yiddish expression my Dad used to explain how he was feeling when it was time for the post-op consultation with the neurosurgeon. This drawing symbolizes strength, love, and the enduring connection we share with our loved ones, even through life’s greatest challenges and once they cross over into the Spirit Realms. I expanded the collection to include other cards I created for him throughout the remainder of his Earth Walk, including a birthday card I painted for  him called “Morning Lotus” while we enjoyed breakfast out on the screened porch of the home we grew up in. These simple moments of lovingkindness meant the most to him; he always let me know how much he appreciated the smallest of favors.

Proceeds from the “Big Love for Doug” collection Donated to the Brain Tumor Network, supporting their mission to provide guidance and care for those facing brain tumors.

At Explore the Sea of Qi, we believe in supporting the greater good. A portion of our proceeds is donated to nonprofits and charities that align with our mission, including those focused on healing, animal welfare, and environmental conservation.

One cause close to my heart is the Brain Tumor Network in Florida. I donate proceeds from the sale of a special collection of notecards, Big Love for Doug, created in honor of my brother who received vital support from this nonprofit at no charge after he was diagnosed with glioblastoma. They guided and uplifted him throughout his valiant efforts to combat the disease, surgeries, chemo and radiation, including help for me as a family member. I am eternally grateful for their kindness and support, as well as the depth and breadth of resources they provide to those in need.
