About us
Welcome to Explore the Sea of Qi! My name is Reverend Diana, and I’m honored to share my journey of healing, creativity, and spiritual exploration with you. This is more than just a practice—it’s a calling to connect body, mind, and soul, and to help others discover the transformative power of healing energy and many other divine blessings from Spirit.
My Spiritual Path
Born into a family rich in cultural heritage and raised in a small college town, my path toward healing began as a personal quest to understand chronic pain and psychic dreams. I discovered holistic healing through alternative practices and Spirit Communication. I earned a Master’s Degree in Oriental Medicine, practiced acupuncture and herbal medicine, and earned certifications Reiki, spiritual healing, and mediumship. Every morning I write down my dreams from the night before, noting any messages, symbols, or other forms of Spirit Communication. Before I eat breakfast, I practice Tai Chi and Qi Gong. Throughout the day, I practice mindfulness and meditation, and record blessings and dreams come true in my Gratitude journal.
Over the years, my work has grown to include coaching, teaching, ministering, writing, and creating Spirit Art—to help others align with their higher purpose and find balance in their lives.
Like many women who change their names after marriage, I chose a professional name for my writing and spiritual work – Diana Dayenu. My family called me “Di” for short. When we celebrated Passover with our Jewish relatives, my cousins directed the chorus of the Dayenu song to me during our Seders. The warmth, love, gratitude, and celebration of freedom from bondage during the Exodus conveyed life lessons that continue to serve me on my spiritual path.
I also revere my Celtic and Christian origins from other relatives, friends, and colleagues, and close ties to the Native American community. Divine Metaphysics provided a framework for me to explore the deeper meanings of my intertwining roots from multiple faith traditions, while incorporating the Tao from my Chinese medicine studies, clinical practice, Reiki training, as well as teachings and Universal Truths from many other sacred teachings. I rely on these throughout my day, to hone the services and products I offer in loving gratitude and service
Giving Back
One cause close to my heart is the Brain Tumor Network in Florida. I donate proceeds from the sale of the Big Love for Doug notecard collection, created in honor of my brother Doug. He received vital support from this nonprofit at no charge after he was diagnosed with glioblastoma, a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer. The network guided and uplifted him throughout his valiant efforts to combat the disease, surgeries, chemo and radiation, including help for me as a family member. I am eternally grateful for their kindness and support, as well as the depth and breadth of resources they provide for those in need.
When I create Spirit Art, I meditate and channel Spirit Energy as I am inspired to choose certain colors, media, and shapes. One especially cherished creation is the first card I drew for my brother Doug while he was undergoing surgery to remove a brain tumor. This card is called “Ober Yetz” after a Yiddish expression my Dad used which means “now what…?” when it was time for the post-op consultation with Doug’s neurosurgeon. This drawing symbolizes positivity, love, and the connection we share with our loved ones, seen and unseen, through life’s greatest challenges and triumphs.
I expanded this collection to include other cards I created for Doug throughout the remainder of his Earth Walk. I painted “Morning Lotus” while we shared a birthday breakfast out on the screened porch of the home we grew up in. These simple pleasures and homecooked meals meant the most to him — he always let me know how much he appreciated even the smallest acts of kindness.
- Proceeds from the “Big Love for Doug” collection: Donated to the Brain Tumor Network, supporting their mission to provide guidance and care for those facing brain tumors.
