THE CUSTOM DESIGN PROCESS

Five stages. One
singular result.

A typical commission unfolds over three to nine months. Some take longer. The work is finished when it is finished.

01

Consultation

An unhurried conversation in the atelier — often with tea, often over several hours. We discuss the story, the wearer, and the form the piece may begin to take.

02

Concept Development

Hand-drawn studies, mood references and stone propositions are prepared for your review. Iteration is encouraged; nothing is rushed.

03

Design Approval

A final rendering or wax model is presented in person. Only with your full approval does the piece move to the bench.

04

Craftsmanship & Creation

Fabrication begins. Lost wax casting, hand-fabrication, stone setting and finishing — each performed at the bench by Mark himself.

05

Final Delivery

The completed piece is presented in person, in an archival case, with full provenance and care instructions. The commission is yours alone — and exists in a single example.
