About the Author

Meet Gracie

I am from a small town in Mississippi. I grew up on a farm and was exposed to working hard at six years old. I worked on the farm mostly the year around and went to school in split session because most of the kids had to stay out of school to help on the farm. After I finished high school, I retired from the farm.

I went to a small college in Holly Springs, MS, major in Business Education with a BS degree. After graduating I moved to Memphis, TN and worked there for four years before moving to Minnesota. This is when my writing took off. one day i sit down at my computer and started to write and to my surprise what i had written made sense so I kept going until it was a full book. I submitted it to a self-publisher, and it was accepted. That book was “A Murder in a Small Town.”

I have two poetry books out “Life is too Short to Waste and do Nothing” and “A Collection of Poetry.” I am now working. Life is too Short to Waste and do Nothing is also on audible.
